My Shadow Productions (MSP) is a small company owned by two of our generous supporters, Californiawatcher and Jaybigler. They produce beautiful wildlife DVDs, incorporating much of Cali's inspiring photography. Each year since 2009, MSP has produced a video of the season's highlights set to the gentle music of composer Brian Crain (http://www.briancrain.com).

MSP sells the DVDs as a fundraiser for HEGPS and has made generous donations each year: all proceeds exclusive of shipping and handling costs are donated to us.

For 2009, MSP created a 26-minute-long DVD of the Hornby Eagles with highlights of Hope's Year.

2010 was the bittersweet year of Phoenix, who died just before fledging. MSP produced a 44-minute-long DVD, including stills and video from the webcam, original photography by boonibarb, and videos by both boonibarb and Doug Carrick.

In 2011, the eagles fledged two chicks, Alexandra and David, who were named for environmentalists Alexandra Morton and David Suzuki. The web broadcast was permanently shut down in late autumn. For this year, MSP chose to showcase the work of local photographer boonibarb in a 12-minute DVD that includes other eagles and birds on Hornby Island as well as the famous webcam pair.
