I am sending this letter out to as many famous canadians as I can find

feel free to steal it - and do the same - if we all send out letters - someone will come thru - if we just sit and talk to eachother  - nothing will change

MARS needs money to survive and help wildlife to survive. And without help now it will have to close its doors.

Mountainaire Avian Rescue Society, located in Courtenay, British Columbia, used to receive some government funding.   Now it depends on donations and small fundraisers.  This will help explain better than I can:  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8TRSZiR1aAQ   and http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2ull_kCA-gU&feature=related

You can learn more about it at www.wingtips.org  or  https://www.facebook.com/mars.comoxvalley

I have had the privilege of watching eagle nests online.  I learned about MARS when wildlife became ill or injured on Hornby Island, BC . I watched as creatures were captured and transferred to MARS.  I have had the great luck to watch the release of quite a few.

Chatters have been donating regularly.  We send money, items for sale and some very talented chatters have contributed art and crafts for auction on EBAY.

If you care about sick and injured wildlife from bald eagles to owls, seals to fawns, please visit MARS web pages and help.

Thanks for reading and caring.

these 2 you tube links can say it better than I can. We have been doing fundraisers but not even close to the continual needs here.. Anything that you could do to help would be gratefully accepted and appreciated.
Donations can be made to
Mountainaire Avian Rescue Society
