Pet Zone
« on: October 19, 2011, 12:03:20 PM »
We invite you to share your pictures, videos and stories about your "extended" family members here...your pet/s. So often we have one of those "awww" moments, "I could not believe my eyes" and of course, the "you're not gonna going to believe what Spot did today" stories. This topic was started just for the pet stories and pictures/videos. Feel free to share your experiences with your pets and discuss them with others in this thread.

disclaimer: We are not qualified vets & urge you to take your pets to a vet if they are having problems.

Boy, am I ever loving this new thread. This is my dog, Disbrow. We call him Dizzy (hence the name Dizzymom for me.) He will be 13 years old next month. He is half German Shepherd and half Alaskan Husky.

The first picture is of Dizzy with some of his toys, five tennis balls, and one formerly known as a tennis ball, lol.

He is the love of my life.

Yes Pass, he will get confused at which ball to chase. Then he will just stand and stare at me till I get up and retrieve them. I'm not sure whether he is really confused, or if it is his way of making me do the work. :mhihi

Our extended family includes: Millie, Jarko and Bridie.
Bridie crossed over last year at the age of 19. She was and probably is still the boss of the other two..lol..i think she haunts them.

Lovely pets, Adrian. I think Bridie is probably a "guardian angel" to the others and is speaking to them every day. She has that matronly look about her. :eclove

Love Jarkos ears :mhihi That's a nice thought that Bridie is the guardian angel :heart she does have that authoritative look. Millie is very sweet too.

This is a video of our Black Lab, SuzyQ, rescued at the age of 8 months in July, 2010. She was chained in someone's yard for the first 8 months of her life. She'll be two next month and is almost a good dog now, but we have videos of some of our favorite moments. This one is "Suzy Chews Daddy's Favorite Hat".

And one more SuzyQ video for you. Suzy takes things out of the sink and pans off the cook top! Her favorite thing is to find something we might give chase for, LOL http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PNm0ylZJxYQ
