Here, the first chunk of 3' 2x4 has arrived, ready to attach to the Tree on either side of the cam*s box.
& that is the end of my fotos & videos for this day.
i got caught up on the cam computer for the rest of the day.
In the meantime, the guys attached two 2x4s to each side of the cam box, came quickly down the Tree, & had packed up their gear & were ready to go.
A most successful day all *round!
Everyone safe & sound & on the ground.

Thank you Booni - I was hoping we could see the details of how the cam was moved, but this is so much more than I expected.  Love hearing Chester's commentary.  You and the tree climbers are all amazing!

Booni, I have just now had time to catch up on your posts and see all the photos and videos of the tree-climbing. I held my breath just reading and watching the videos! I can barely imagine how it must have felt to you, watching them do all this from waaaaay down there on the ground. What a wonderful job they did - and what a great job to have! A huge thank you to you for letting us share this heart-stopping experience!

Booni - just got a chance to read your play-by-play of the cam-raising event the other day.  I had NO idea what kind of a convoluted, complicated and sustained effort had to be made for such a thing -- and by two climbers!  Your explanation was first-rate in helping me appreciate the nature of such a task.  Thank you SO much!!!!  And since I only just learned of Dooki's passing, it gave me great pleasure that you featured Chester's take on things.  He's a lucky dog.  Bless you for your loving attention to all God's creatures, including us!

Since the cam has been moved up the Tree, we can now see the His & Hers Tree!
We should be able to spot Mum & Dad in these trees quite often!
This is one tree that splits into two tops, & it is at Grassy Point.
Maybe we can see whether Mum uses one top & Dad the other?

This is what the cam looks like from the ground now.
You can see the 2x4s they used to attach the cam box sides to the Tree with.
In the first foto, you can see that the cam is quite close to the top of the Tree now.
