A watercolor of Dad Hornby on Peters' Tree, I believe, which I painted for Mishi when she was visiting in California last week!

I think this thread is a wonderful idea also.. thank you Tigerlady  :ecsmile I love all the talent we have seen so far and I am sure there is a lot more out there  :nod2 I can't wait to see it all.

I do pottery and I created a small pot inspired by Nancy's love of turtles and also from a pot owned by madrona. This is my version about 4 or 5 inches high.

Soft-sculpted Doll Inspired by Nature
« Reply #23 on: June 14, 2011, 10:27:33 AM »

This Woodland Queen is my doll #5000, dressed in natural fibers, cottons and suede leather, with wig of sheep fleece. Hair ornaments are mosses, twigs, fur, feathers, pods and seeds. She holds a basket filled with lichen, moss, roots, rose hips, star anise. She was completed June 14, 2006 and sold for $175.00.

Aislinn, that is a lovely doll!  And after all the trouble you went to to post a small picture, I would really love to see a larger one.

The forum software will resize pictures to the largest size allowed, which is 600 pixels wide. So - feel free to post large pictures - you can't go wrong!
