Little Scientists, here is a new Raven and Haidaii Gwaii Eagle Puzzle for you to do.  Can you find the area on a map where the Haida Bald Eagles live?

http://www.ournaturezone.com/index.php?topic=135.msg104988#msg104988

If you want to change the number of pieces or shapes in the puzzle, please ask your teacher how to do it.

Teachers, please send a PM on the forum to Tigerlady105, if you need some assistance with that feature.

Teachers:  Here is some information from the photographer who took the photo used in this puzzle:

" 'Haida' means 'people' and 'gwaii' means 'home' in the native language so Haida Gwaii is home of the people or home of the Haida. There's two clans: Eagle and Raven. A raven (the actual bird) is known as the 'trickster', really smart tricky birds so it's fitting that he's clowning around in the background of that picture."
