I haven't been watching nests the past couple of weeks.  My friend who pops into to see them emailed me yesterday. Apparently one of the eggs was broken last week ?   :ecsad

The good news is that one egg had hatched.

One egg at Lafarge has also hatched.

Apr. 25 the discussion site indicated that the egg had a crack in it. Dad got up to leave and the egg was stuck to his chest. The egg dislodged when he flew and hit the rim of the nest and fell off.

The White Rock eagles are proud parents of two healthy looking eaglets.  The second one hatched on Apr. 24 late afternoon ; 11.5 hours after the first one. They both look healthy.
