How To Find the URL or 'address' for a Specific Post

If you want to show a particular post to someome else, you can quote the specific address of that post, which will make it easier for them to find it.

It is much better to give a link to the actual post you want people to look at, rather than have them try to go back a page or two at a time searching for it.

METHOD:

  • Click the post icon immediately above the post to the left of the date - surrounded by a pink square in this picture:

. . . . .

  • The URL in the address bar will change to the exact one for that post.

  • Highlight and then right click the URL in the address bar

  • Select 'Copy' from the small menu that appears

  • Paste the URL into a post or PM

Example:

The pictured post is on this page:  http://www.ournaturezone.com/index.php?topic=60.0

But when I click the post icon, the URL changes to:  http://www.ournaturezone.com/index.php?topic=60.msg1468#msg1468
