This is a foto i took of this nest in the 2009 season.
As far as i know, this nest was not used last year.
There have been two different reports to me, however, one was from Doug, that the nest looked this year as though it had been worked on & added to!

Mr. ltb and I enjoyed the walk around Helliwell park in the late afternoon on June 17, 2010.  This is a picture of the nest #23 (I think).  We saw and heard eagles in the park, but could not determine if nest was in use.

i found this report today in my e-mail inbox from a neighbour of nest #21 Whaling Station.
She is an avid watcher of her eagle nest.
She is talking about nest #23 here.

Was walking the park around 10am this morning.  Was just past the nest mid way down to the beach, when I heard eagles talking.  Looked up and two adults were flying in circles around the nest tree.  One landed briefly on it, they chatted away.  I turned round to go back to the lookout spot, but they had gone.  Checking out real estate for next year?
