Thank you Booni. I am caught up. What an amazing time. The nest continues to draw eagles and us.

Love, Rajame :hearts2

On my drive home after our walk on Sandpiper in the lovely warm Sun, i spotted an Eagle in The Babysitting Tree.
i only had thirty seconds to get fotos before she flew off & down, towards the water.

Spotted Em in the Sun on my drive around yesterday!
It had been one of those days, & i hadn*t even realized it*d been sunny.
i could hear another Eagle calling, perhaps from The Peters* Tree.

The forecast was that the Sun would shine yesterday, but it never did.
i was counting on Sun to get some nice fotos of our pair.
i took Otto for a walk & on the way out spotted this Eagle in The Babysitting Tree.

december 26 2018 12:27 - Em in The Babysitting Tree

That was my test foto.
It was pretty dark out.
Here i have adjusted my settings to suit better.

On our way back, the Sun still hadn*t come out, & it was drizzling, so i only did a quick flyby.
There was an Eagle in The Babysitting Tree that i didn*t get fotos of.

i was up early & the clouds were somewhere else for a change & there was the Moon, low & clear, so i thought i*d see what my camera could do.
On full zoom, with the camera hand held, it is hard to keep the Moon in the picture!
So this first one is zoomed out a bit, which makes it easier.

This one is zoomed in to the max.

Yesterday was the annual Polar Bear Swim at Grassy Point!
i like to get a video of all the people going in.

Even with all the people crowding around, there was an Eagle there!
The male.

:mhihi  He looks like he's thinking "Egad;  those two leggers have moulted most of their feathers and waterproofing.. and their senses!

Thanks for the fun video and photos booni!
Happy New Year to all of you, and to the eagles.  I hope it is a peaceful one, for them and for you.
