A bit later i found her again!
Looking towards the water.

Wonderful photos/videos Boonibarb!
Just a thought... any chance this could be David?? Wondering if he had anything distinguishing that might be observerable as an adult?

Back for a better look.
Dad on the same branch.
I didn't see that fresh blood on his beak in the previous photos, sure hope it isn't his.

Off to see if any other eagles are still in the territory.
I can hear Em gulling from Hidden Beach, then as I turn the corner near Grassy Point I see an eagle heading that way, possibly Dad himself.
Nobody on the seaside trees as far as I could tell.
Then, coming back, I see someone on the CU cam. This sure looks like Em to me.

I look for a better vantage point into the nest. Those trees sure are growing fast around there! The sounds are confusing because the Starlings are extensively speaking Eagle these days.
I find a tiny window in which I see a head! Looks like Em has dropped into the nest bowl. Then I see a second head! My camera has trouble focusing through all those branches but I catch a glimpse of a bloody beak.
This is my least-worst photo and it catches the moment: they are gently beaking!

It seems Dad is back again, as of at least yesterday.
i was trying to get proof by photographing his distinctive feather.
He was facing the wrong way, however.

From the cam, this is an excellent view in of Dad, but from the ground, all those big broken off branches are blocking your view of him.
You have to wait & wait til he pops his head up to look at something.
i went looking for his feather, but now i am noticing something about his beak.
He also has a very full crop.

i forget, calling or yawning.
From the other side Dad*s back is not lit by the Sun, & now it is raining, but you can just see his distinctive feather.
