Busiest Winter for the TWC... in three days... they have admitted 18 animals.... 11 Grebes, 1 Horned Grebes, 2 Red breasted Mergansers, 1 Long Tail Duck, 1 Canada Goose, 1 Lesser Scaups and 1 Gadwall  ... and that is just the water birds.  They are asking people to be on the look out for birds in stress as this is a very bad winter for them.

Do you have what it takes to join the wildlife emergency hotline team at the busiest wildlife centre in Canada.
If you live in the Toronto area and think you may... they are looking to hire someone... boy do I wish I drove and was
younger!!!!             https://torontowildlifecentre.com/wildlife-hotline-emergency-services-operator

Great interview on Canada AM with the director of the Toronto Wildlife Center about the plight of birds/animals this harsh winter.
Since Dec. they had had over 110 water birds admitted, 110 bats, a snowy owl and many more animals/birds.

Thank   you for posting this article Donnae,   It's hard to read about this  it must be very difficult to witness all those starving birds.   Pats on the backs to those people who are stepping up to help when it is needed. Truly dedicated.
