The "Puzzle of the Day" at jigzone for Friday is a place not far from me!  :ecsmile  Pt. Bonita is in the Marin Headlands.  It is possible to walk all the way out to the lighthouse, although a little intimidating as you are really "out there".   I have only taken the lighthouse path once, but rather enjoyed the experience.  The Marin Headlands are part of the Golden Gate National Recreation Area.  "Hawk Hill", where we see the raptors migrate south in the fall, is located in the area as well as the Marine Mammal Center.  The views are wonderful.  It was fun playing with the puzzle of a place I have been.  :nod2

'Luv, that looks like a very pretty place - lucky you :thumbsup

I'm on my way to JigZone. I always do one or three before going to bed.  I rally need to stop doing '67 pieces' and branch out  :eclol   But the 'balloon' pieces and one other frustrate me no end. I no longer worry about the time it takes; I do them for relaxation and the fun of it.   :nod2

ETA - I am going to do this one - 'Eagle and Flag'

and likely 'Mountain Scape'

Skagit River - Washington State - photo by Raptorman

Bald eagles migrate every winter to this scenic river in Washington State where they fish for salmon and perch in trees.  On nice days, they can be seen soaring in the air. They return to Alaska when it's time to raise chicks.  Raptorman was there at Christmas time in 2009 and took a number of beautiful photos which he is generously sharing with us.
