Well, we have had to endure some patience the last few days. WildEarth has been working on restoring our live feed. They have had several issues. The weather delivered a high of 52 degrees today and it was beautiful. So to keep with that theme, I thought I would attach a picture I took using our Axis Software. It was an awesome sunset tonight!

Beautiful sunset colors, Talon!  It's not always easy for kids (or we as adults, either) to wait when things are "being fixed!"    :eclove

Lucy came in this morning. The video was glitchy still so here is an image I took using the Axis software.

That's a very nice, clear screen cap of Lucy and the nest, Talon!   :eclove  They've done a good job of making eaglet guard railings all around!

I've seen them on cam but the stream has been so bad that I couldn't post anything. Lucky the squirrel was in with his friend Buddy this afternoon. Larry made a late day visit too. I saw both on my way home from school. One was in their second favorite tree while the other was across the highway eating from a dead deer carcass.

They like deer meat and there should be more than enough for both of them!  I hope the deer carcass isn't still on the road, for the safety of the eagles.   Thanks for the update, Talon.

Deer carcass is in a field well off the road so no worries. :)

They gave us a lot to watch this morning. Actually they made 4 visits. Lucky came in later but I do not have that on video. They visited the nest at 9:38 and ended an hour later.

The nest looks beautiful in the late afternoon light.  I wonder where they are finding dried grasses with so much snow in the area?
